Edinburgh Dungeon Standard Admission at the Edinburgh Dungeon takes you underground into Scotland’s darker history. The experience uses live actors, special effects and a drop ride to bring Edinburgh’s murky past to life, with scenes drawn from the Black Plague, a torture chamber and stories of notorious figures such as Burke and Hare, Sawney Bean and Agnes Finnie.

As you move through the attraction, you see, hear and smell parts of the city’s history presented in a theatrical format. It combines dark history with live performance and ride elements.
