Review of Doncaster  Hot Air Balloon Festival

Not what expected. It was just simple rides and food gathering than balloons experience, feel misguided

The planning, organisation and communication was very poor. Not knowing the schedule cause us problems I tried emailing for info but got no reply. Nobody available on the phone. We couldn't reach pan our weekend and probably missed a lot because of it. I'm very frustrated and disappointed.  Advanced programming and schedule would be very helpful.

We had a fabulous day but the balloon glow at the end didn't happen, just burners which isn't the same thing and an anticlimax. Not sure how this was deemed to be an acceptable alternative ð We'd seen the photos from the night before and were really looking forward to it. Very disappointed.

We had a great time.  Queues for food were very slow in places and not all vendors for activities displayed their prices, which is important to know when you have family and a budget.  But despite this, the atmosphere was great, plenty to see, varied fun activities for kids and adults and loved the reenactment village.  Would visit again and would recommend

Fantastic event something for everyone to enjoy, lovely clean area, family friendly, we went both days and my kids are still talking about it as if it happened yesterday a week later the balloon pilots were fanatic the entertainment was amazing the compares were brilliant, every eventuality thought of loads of bins toilets even litter pickers walking round the event lost children bands more event staff and security than at some big gigs fantastic all round well done all involved let's see it again next year
