About

Manchester night 'You Think You Know Me' is crossing the Irish Sea on September 28th to deliver a night of pure progressive house and more directly to Bennigans.

Manchild will be digging deep with a special three hour set which will no doubt consist of his trademark filthy progressive sound with a sprinkling of breaks and whatever else he is feeling at the time.

Over the past few years, Manchild has been slowly making a name for himself regularly playing for brands such as 'Up Close and Personal Mcr' (where he became resident), 'Free From Sleep', 'Music is the Answer' and many more, but Northern Ireland has always evaded him..... until now.

Artists he's played alongside include heavyweights James Zabiela, Chicane, Cristoph, Anthony Pappa, Jody Wisternoff, Marsh, Cosmic Gate, Grum, Lange, John 00 Fleming, Richie Blacker, Mr Sosa, Estiva, My Friend, Fehrplay, Leena Punks, Marcus James (Renaissance), Dave Pearce, Diode Eins, Tommy Farrow, John Kelly, Dave Beer, Asch Pintura, Redfreya, Shadow Child, Vanilla Ace, Arun Verone and many more at venues such as London's Ministry of Sound, EGG, the Steel Yard, Studio 338; Mains Castle (Dundee), Manchester's Stage & Radio, Joshua Brooks and more.

As well as playing at the huge forthcoming ‘Balearic Garden’ event in Manchester on May 5th with Sasha & John Digweed, Cristoph, Franky Wah, Nick Warren, Jeremy Olander, Sebastien Leger, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green, Gustin, Patrice Baumel and many more, he is also lined up to play his first festival in August at Solfest alongside Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman and more.

Despite all of the above, he has never even been to Northern Ireland, let alone play here, so he's very excited to see what it's all about.

We are also very happy to have Bennigans regular and local talent Mickey McCauley ('The Lot' and formerly 'Me Ma's Waiting Room') on warmup duties. Manchild and Mickey met at Mains Castle in March last year when Manchild played with James Zabiela. They immediately struck up a friendship, kept in touch, and playing together has been a long time coming. They've talked about this ever since and there is no doubt that Mickey will set things up perfectly on what is sure to be a special night of underground music.

Thank you for listening
