Our Talks take place sitting inside The WW2 themed Mess Cafe of Fort Perch Rock. The Log Fire is lit and Kitchen is open for Breakfast & Lunch.
You will hear stories of The Blitz, The arrival of the US Army, German Spies in Wallasey, The AA Guns at the Red Noses, The Maunsell Forts in the River Mersey, local Rationing, The Dig for Victory Campaign, Ladies and their new duties, Evacuation, War Dances at the Tower Ballroom and Post War Memories of the Seaside Resort.
