Atlas : Empire is a Post/Alt.Rock band based in Glasgow, UK.
Since their inception in 2011, the band has continually evolved & expanded their sonic landscape, never simply content to regurgitate the same sounds over & over.
This desire for musical evolution has seen Atlas : Empire showcase their unique mix of alternative genres to live audiences throughout the UK, Europe, Ukraine & Canada, sharing stages with a diverse array of artists, including...
The Appleseed Cast, Tiny Moving Parts, O'Brother, Wintersleep, Microwave, Good Tiger, The Dear Hunter, Closure In Moscow, Nothing & October Drift.
In 2023, Atlas : Empire released their Sophomore album, 'Everything Is Temporary' - a record on which the band focused their expansive & structurally complex Progressive Rock into a more streamlined & vocally driven sound, fusing Post-Rock/Shoegaze textures with the energy of late 90s & early 00s Alt.Rock & 2nd wave Emo.
In 2025, Atlas : Empire returned with 'Happy As Lazarus' & 'Rêverie'
Mixed by Tom Peters (Vennart, Lakes, A Burial At Sea) & mastered by Ed Woods (The XCerts, Reuben, VUKOVI) both tracks offer unique snapshots of A:E's ever-evolving sound. Incorporating prominent use of Bass synths, glacial electronics & fusing these with dreamy, Shoegaze-influenced guitar textures, all whilst retaining the Alt.Rock immediacy of their last album - these new songs serve as a dynamic introduction to the next chapter of Atlas : Empire.
