About

Frankly, The Smiths are a Scottish tribute act to The Smiths. The band formed in 2017, and since then have been performing all over Scotland on a regular basis, namely at the famous Ironworks in Inverness and the popular Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh.

The four piece delve deep into the indie legend’s back catalogue, performing lengthy shows which please both the casual and devoted fan.

The band have gained a dedicated following, all of whom believe that this is the only tribute act to see for the ultimate Smiths experience.

Laid have hit the tribute scene with lightning pace, receiving high praise everywhere they play.

Bookings all over the country have come in thick and fast and the band have marked their territory as the leading tribute to one of the best bands to come out of Manchester.

Playing all the hits including “Sit Down”, “Come Home”, “Ring The Bells”, “She’s a Star” and “Laid” they are not to be missed!
