John Nicholas (Full Band + Support)

John Nicholas is a singer-songwriter with a story to tell. Ever since picking up his father’s old guitar at the age of 12, he hasn’t stopped writing, with his phone’s notes app constantly overflowing with ideas. His surroundings and personal experiences fuel his lyrics, which he weaves into cleverly crafted melodies.

He has earned regional and national airplay, toured across the UK and EU, and won Firestone’s Road to the Mainstage competition in 2018. 

But the stage is where John feels most at home—singing with his heart on his sleeve and pouring passion into every word. From intimate showcases to performing for thousands at All Points East (2019), it’s live performance that truly brings him to life.

Away from music, John is married with 3 young kids, and works as a Firefighter. 

After taking a few years away from music, John is back—bigger, bolder, and now backed by a full five-piece band. His return has been electric, with packed-out shows and a stack of new songs ready to be unveiled.
