About

The North Star is a converted Victorian pub on North Road, Cardiff (formerly The Maindy). Our boutique conversion offers an open heated courtyard, drinks lounge, live music stage and an Italian open kitchen serving the best stone baked pizzas, pastas, grill dishes and our daily specials (definitely worth a taste!), all served from 12pm. Throughout the week we have great evenings set up. Come join us on Mondays for the pub quiz with a cash prize of £100 for first place! Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are devoted to music, with open mic nights, live bands and open decks nights, DJ sets and local acoustic bands.
