About

The UK #1 Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute show bring you “The Green River Tour” in 2024 celebrating Creedence Clearwater Revival’s first US #1 Album “Green River” in full, featuring their UK #1 hit single “Bad Moon Rising”. ’Review will take you on a two hour nostalgia trip back to 1969, with all the greatest hits including Proud Mary, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Fortunate Son and many more. Selling out venues across the world, including a short residency in sunny Bahrain, Creedence Clearwater Review are established as the UK’s #1 definitive Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute among die hard fans and theatre audiences. After years of touring, dubbed as the most authentic, honest and power-packed celebration of CCR and John Fogerty, Creedence Clearwater Review now set off on “The Green River” UK tour, celebrating their US #1 album from 1969 “Green River”.

Green River features CCR’s biggest hit “Bad Moon Rising” and was penned by critics as the musical centre of the sound of CCR. ‘Review will be celebrating this album, in full and unabridged, along with a sensational two hour theatre show of America’s greatest rock band featuring all the greatest hits from 1968-1972 including Up Around The Bend, Born On The Bayou, Down On The Corner, Who’ll Stop The Rain, Run Through The Jungle and many more. ‘Review also deliver the iconic Creedence versions of hit records such as I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Suzie Q and I Put A Spell On You. By late ’69, Creedence were named the “biggest band in America”. By mid-1970, they could be named as the ‘biggest band in the world’, since The Beatles, their only real competition, no longer existed.

In addition, there is a special anniversary feature in the show paying homage to Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty, who as lead singer, penned all of their greatest hits. 2025 marks both the 50th anniversary of his self-titled “John Fogerty” album, and celebrates the 40th anniversary of his biggest solo album “Centrefield”. Fogerty fans can expect to hear timeless tracks from these albums and the infamously penned hit by Fogerty (yet little known trivia) “Rockin’ All Over The World” featured in the show. When John Fogerty last visited the UK, ‘Review were invited to perform at the O2 Arena in the AMEX VIP Lounge, where they performed for special guests attending John Fogerty’s show at The O2 in London in October 2018, at BluesFest, when John headlined alongside the Steve Miller Band.

Not only do they use some of the original vintage gear, instruments and wear 60s accurate outfits, they are able to conjure up the full throttle, high-energy experience of seeing Creedence Clearwater Revival live on stage in their prime. Add to the amazing music, a host of fascinating stories about the 60’s and the history of the band, the audience will be swept back in time to the heady days of Woodstock and to one of the most important musical periods in recent history. There’s audience involvement, singalongs, and plenty of rousing choruses to join in on the Review’s authentic, power packed tribute to the Creedence legacy.

Six decades on, the spirit, power and quality of their iconic songs are powerfully reprised with Creedence Clearwater Review. Together, they are the best celebration of the music of CCR and Fogerty you’re ever likely to see. Creedence Clearwater Review will take you on a nostalgia trip you won’t want to miss!
