The Newman Hall, in the Sacred Heart parish in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol has been successfully operating as a thriving parish and community facility over the last 40 years.
Thanks to the hard work of Pat and Alan White it has become a thriving and profitable enterprise. Apart from parish activities, the Newman Hall has become home to eight local drama and music groups.
One of the requests from all the theatre groups has been for upholstered chairs and this month the Hall will be taking delivery of 200 fantastic new chairs - just in time performances of HMS Pinafore and Trial by Jury.
This means the Hall is now looking for new homes for its current plastic chairs. So if any parish or group within the diocese could do with some sturdy and well-tested chairs, which can be linked together and stacked, please get in touch.
