HEADLINERS
HARDFLOOR
“Techno duo Hardfloor's acid sound is credited to their virtuoso skill at manipulating Roland TB-303 bass synthesisers. They reputedly use up to six of these machines at once, some of which are highly modified.
Forming in 1991 as the German acid and techno scenes were just beginning to solidify, the pair released the eleven-minute "Acperience" single to inject a bit of bombast into the German scene. Utilizing since-standard compositional tools like long, melody-driven buildups and elaborate percussion breaks, the track became an instant dancefloor anthem and made Hardfloor a sought-after name for remix and production work. “
ROB ACID (AKA ROBERT BABICZ)
Cologne, Germany, producer Robert Babicz's most recognized and accomplished alias, Rob Acid churned out a cycle of influential techno records in the late '90s that established him as one of Germany's top techno producers. Before adopting the Rob Acid moniker, Babicz released a number of dancefloor-orientated acid techno 12"s as Acid Warrior and Department of Dance on his Junkfood Records label. After putting out a few releases as Rob Acid, though, Babicz stuck with the name and attained considerable recognition, resulting in an affiliation with Europe's largest and widest-reaching techno label, Force Inc. There, Babicz released a number of Rob Acid records, while also branching out to release more ambient and experimental recordings under his own name and also some lighter, more accessible techno as Atlon, Inc. Other Rob Acid records appeared on Internal, Labworks Germany (Colone Acid Science Trax), Important Records, and Generator Records (2), amongst other labels. The Live-Act "Rob Acid" exists since 1992.
As usual we have a full Wobbly Records Roster of artists and guests supporting these Acid Pioneers!

Performers
The performance side of this event is equally as important as the music so we’re bringing in the best!
We’re very lucky to be teaming up with none other than Brightons Queen of Burlesque and all round legend, Veronica Blacklace who’ll be bringing the best of the UK’S burlesque and circus performers to grace the stage and show you what Burlesque is all about, in true Cabaret Boheme Style!
Venue
"Oozing with character and style, Concorde 2 is a classic Victorian building, originally used as tea rooms in the 1800's. In the 1960's it became a notorious bikers cafe and in the 1970's an amusement arcade, before it was eventually transformed into all its current glory in 2000."
The Concorde 2 is the only Brighton venue we’d consider putting on such a show, the sound system is banging, the stage is massive and the lighting rig has all we need for a full on show.
Club nights at Concorde 2 normally run from 11pm - 4am but thats not good enough for this event so we’ve booked the venue for the whole night, get there early and enjoy a full night of Techno, Burlesque and good vibrations.
