Horse Meat Disco (3 hour - extended set)
Wildblood & Queenie

Start 2026 the right way as Horse Meat Disco take over Patterns, Brighton for a New Year’s Day Time Disco on Wednesday 1st January, 3pm – 8pm. Expect pure dance floor euphoria as the legendary collective deliver a three-hour extended set, with support from Brighton’s own disco heroes Wildblood and Queenie.

Born in 2004 at The Eagle in London’s Vauxhall, Horse Meat Disco has grown from a beloved Sunday session into a global institution of queer nightlife. Founded by James Hillard and Jim Stanton, alongside residents Severino and Luke Howard, HMD’s mission has always been simple: to bring everyone together under the disco ball. Their sets weave disco, italo, house, punk funk, and leftfield gems into a vibrant soundtrack of love, freedom, and unfiltered joy.

From Glastonbury to Love International, and through their celebrated Rinse FM residency, HMD have become synonymous with inclusive, high-energy parties that honour the past while pushing disco firmly into the future. With new music and another compilation on the horizon, they continue to prove that the spirit of the dance floor is alive and thriving.

So gather your crew, slip into something fabulous, and join the Horse Meat Disco family for a New Year’s Day celebration guaranteed to light up the seaside.
