There should have been more toilets provided as there was always a big queue, and perhaps soap to wash your hands with as there was only hand gel and then taps. But the staff were very helpful handing out water and sun cream since it was such a hot and sunny day, which I thought was brilliant and what should happen at all outdoor summer events like this. The music was amazing and I met some lovely people there!

Review of On The Beach 2024 - Bicep

Way too busy, massive queues, drinks overpriced but most importantly the sound quality was terrible! Could hear everyones conversations better than the music. Won't be returning next year.

Great atmosphere and vibe at On the Beach for Bicep! General set up and stage was really good, easy to get into etc. Negative was the drinks were massively overpriced. £9.50 for a very small c**ktail can, and nearly £7 for a small can of beer. Didn't need to be that expensive!

Was really excited for this but was let down by the sound system (no bass at all and so quiet). Mostly everyone in the crowd was stood in circles chatting, to the point where the chatting was much much louder than the music which in any music event is a bad sign. We moved around to different spots in the crowd to see if it was just where we were stood but we had the same issue.

Music was far too quiet - qlwe were stood in front of a speaker stack and could still have a reasonable conversation with the people around us. Stood there so we could actually hear the blimmin music. - poorly managed bar & toilets. Drinks were warm and massively overpriced. Drugs were rife but considering the poor quality of the drinks and the prices it doesn't surprise me.

Bicep set was great, but the music sounded much quieter this year. I think they finally turned it up after 15 minutes but it meant it took a while for the crowd to get in to it. The crowd organisation for that day/evening was really bad. It took an hour to get in from 6pm with no water being handed out on a really warm day. I hear the council won't let people queue along the beach, but three queues into one, just doesn't work. It needs to be much better. Why not change last entry to 8/8.30pm to stop that?! Queues for bars and toilets were awful and put you off - everyone crammed in to the toilets and it felt too congested. I saw lots of people leaving early and read they did too due to bar and toilet queue's being too long. Security staff pocketing lost property (they are contract I guess, so why not take some dropped Ray-Ban's?). It was a real shame.

Great music and line up. I would definitely advise having more toilets and more flooring for the dance area
