Rushbonds // Restless Youth // Beth Pilling - Live at The Lodge

We're delighted to announce that Rushbonds will be making their return to Bridlington alongside fellow Leeds artists Restless Youth and local favourite Beth Pilling bringing you an acoustic set to open for the evening!

The Leeds based Experimental Indie-Soul quintet have wowed audiences at both their previous two outings to Bridlington and with more gigs under their belt since their last appearance there's no doubt that they'll be bringing even more energy to the stage on the seafront at The Lodge!

Restless Youth create a vibrant, bustling sound that tells stories of the people and places they experience; in a distinctive fusion of styles. Musically, they draw on jazz, pop and folk traditions to create infectious grooves and melodies. Lyrically, they blend spoken word and sung vocals to convey evocative, relatable storytelling.
Or, as one person put it quite concisely after one of their shows - “yous are like The Streets innit, but... jazzier??”. 

Opening up for them this evening will be Bridlington's own Beth Pilling with an acoustic set of her original feminist anthems! Beth's music has been going from strength to strength and with all the recent outings with 'Beth Pilling and the Bootleggers' you might not have caught the acoustic renditions of the songs in quite a while!
