Bradford Bookfest: July 2026

This venue at Albion Mills will now be the hub of all our UK Bookfest activity, we will still be doing pop-up events around the country but this will be our base and we'll run three bookfests a year from here.

This bookfest is timed to run parallel with the Bradford Literature Festival (check them out!) and will make Bradford the place to be for book lovers this summer.

As usual at our bookfest we'll have tens of thousands of second-hand books ranging from baby through to adult.

Prices for second hand books are as follows:

Adult Books

Friday 3rd - £3 per book

Saturday 4th - £3 per book

Sunday 5th - £3 per book

Monday 6th - £2 per book

Tuesday 7th - £2 per book

Wednesday 8th - £2 per book

Thursday 9th - £1 per book

Friday 10th - £1 per book

Saturday 11th - £1 per book or FILL A BAG FOR £10!

Children's Books

£1 each all sale and they're included in the fill-a-bag price on the last day.

For the first time we have a selection of brand new books and they are priced as follows:

We're open 8am to 8pm every day apart from Sunday when we're open 1pm-4pm

We're at the front of Albion Mills by the Bizspace reception (a different unit to the one we were in last time!).

Parking

Parking immediately outside the bookfest unit is limited and is reserved for disabled people and for customers to bring their vehicles in to collect their orders. There is parking all along Albion Road and a large carpark at the top of the site

Buses

There is a bus stop right outside the bookfest unit, if you're coming from Leeds City Centre or from Keighley direction then the number 60 stops here.

Coming from Bradford City Centre the 640 and 641 both stop a little higher up Albion Road and then it's a short walk to the bookfest.

Trains

Apperley Bridge station is the closest and is a 25 minute walk away or the A2 bus will get you to within a 5 minute walk.

Airport

Leeds/Bradford airport is a 17 minute drive away or the A2 bus will bring you to within a 5 minute walk.

Donations

We're accepting donations of any books any time before or during the bookfest.

Delivery

If you want to come and buy lots of books but aren't sure how you'll get them home then we can do shipping at cost for you: £6 for 20kgs!
