HOLY MOLY have we got a BANGER of an event to kick off the 2024 season! We're back hitting new heights at THE MILL BRADFORD this April and we’re hosting some of the biggest names in the business!

Ladies and gentlemen are you ready to GET TWISTED with one of the cornerstones of Drum & Bass, the one and only DILLINJA!!

Not only that, we got a DOUBLE whammy of LEGENDS in the building this coming April. One of the BIGGEST names in the UK breaks scene the FREESTYLERS!!

We also welcome a whole host of new names to Wave. DOM JAMES of the Manchester based Digitise crew, JAKE ROLLINSON of Lost Cooker Leeds, KAD Studios own KAR-L and man like TURBULENCE of Disfunktional Sounds.

Returning we have R:EVOLVE Soundsystem’s breaks extraordinaire CRYSTAL GEF, The Stranger of Lazy’s Rum Shop and your Wave crew residents Wetty & Fenzo, Kev Royston and DJ Fairbank! Plus our resident badman host TYTY PACKAGE!

And one last surprise! The MIll basement has undergone some winter renovations with a new system and decor and we now have full access to the space as the green screen has been taken down! This will be our main room for the night just like the GOOD OLD DAYS!

DILLINJA (DRUM & BASS/JUNGLE)

Dillinja’s trademark combination of dark’n’dirty stomach-churning basslines and tighter than tight beats, has secured his reputation as one of the most influential producers/remixers in Drum’n’bass history. A unique dark and grumbling sound that has resulted in Dillinja being Called to remix for the likes of David bowie, Bjork, Faith no more, Soul II Soul, Basement Jaxx, Amon Tobin, Artful Dodger and Jeru the damajaD.

FREESTYLERS (BREAKBEAT)

After a 15 year career the Freestylers have covered a full 360 degrees in the Bass music genre, having played all the biggest festivals and most talked about nightclubs around the world, even the quintessentially British music show, Top of The Pops. Having achieved the kind of success most artists can only dream of, they’ve not rest on their laurels and are constantly working on new releases all the time.

Aston and Matt started making tracks together in the mid ‘90’s after discovering a mutual love of hip-hop, electro and beats. They released their first two albums ‘We Rock Hard’ and ‘Pressure Point’ on legendary Breakbeat label Freskanova. ‘Raw as F**k’ and ‘Adventures in Freestyle’ were released on ‘Against The Grain’, another Breaks power house based out of Brighton, UK. From being voted ‘Best Band’ by Musik Magazine to touring with Lenny Kravitz on his American Woman tour (he asked them himself as he was so impressed with their act), rocking a crowd of 30,000 at Glastonbury Festival ’99 and performing at MTV’s Times Sq Millenium Party, playing Big Day Out ‘05– it’s fair to say they’ve have had one big adventure so far.

The Freestylers began their career as an Urban Electronic Music Act, and their early tunes ‘B-Boy Stance,’’ ‘Ruffneck’ and ‘Warning’ set the marker. As their music progressed so did their anthems with the seminal tunes ‘Punks’, ‘Boom Blast’, ‘Fasten Your Seat-Belts,’ ‘Painkiller’ and more recently ‘Cracks.’ In addition to their status as underground heroes, they have gained commercial success with their huge global hit ‘Push Up’ and have had their music featured in TV and film, including the hugely successful comedy films Zoolander and Hey Dude Where’s My Car

They’ve released 5 Albums-We Rock Hard,Pressure Point,Raw As F**K,Adventures In Freestyle and The Coming Storm and are currently working on a 6th

Their ever-eclectic style and renegade approach to production focusing on everything in the bass music spectrum knows no bounds . Whether they’re performing as a live band, sound system or DJ set, you know they’re gonna rock hard.
