ALMA returns to Birmingham, taking over the incredible Rainbow Pub with its unique courtyard and intimate basement space for another journey into underground electronic music.

Created by Portuguese-born DJ and producer Igor Carmo after years performing on some of the biggest stages around the world, ALMA was born from a passion for music that connects people on a deeper level. “Alma” means “Soul” in Portuguese, a name chosen to reflect the belief that music should truly touch the soul. 

More than just an event, ALMA is a growing community dedicated to supporting Birmingham’s local and upcoming talent while bringing together lovers of underground electronic sounds in an atmosphere built on freedom, connection, and self-expression.

Each ALMA event is carefully curated as a musical journey from beginning to end, with every edition exploring a different concept of groovy electronic music. 

Expect a deep selection of Minimal, Progressive House, Deep Tech, and underground electronic rhythms inspired by the energy and spirit of the European dance floor culture. Join us on Saturday 11 July from 8PM until 2AM at the legendary Rainbow Pub Birmingham for a night of quality music, good people, and unforgettable vibes.
