NBHD Friday nights are back — bringing Birmingham’s biggest jam night into your weekend plans.
This month we’re linking with the legendary Tomorrow’s Warriors to welcome a very special featured set from David Kayode + Band.
London-born saxophonist, composer and bandleader David Kayode blends Yoruba tradition, Afro-diasporic rhythm and contemporary jazz into a sound built around groove, improvisation and storytelling.
Expect serious musicianship, deep rhythms and a room full of energy from start to finish.
As always, the NBHD House Band will be opening and closing the night the only way they know how — with a full live jam built for musicians, vocalists and anyone who loves real live music.
