About

BRUM N BASS PRESENTS: JUNGLE TAKEOVER
The Drop Inn – Digbeth, Birmingham, 8pm-3am

Brum N Bass take over Digbeth’s brand new venue The Drop Inn for a heavyweight night dedicated to the roots and future of jungle. Expect rolling breakbeats, deep subs, and energy as we bring together established names and rising talent from across the scene. Proper breaks, weighty subs, and a lineup that understands where this thing comes from.

Powered by Coventry’s Nazca Sound System, this is serious business. Hand-built, heavyweight and tuned for bass music properly -deep subs you feel in your chest, crisp tops, and that full-pressure session feel. This isn’t just a rig on the night, it’s a key part of the experience and local scene. Jungle through a system like this is going to hit different.

Lineup to match the weight:

Leading the lineup is DJ Hybrid, one of the UK’s most respected jungle and drum & bass producers, known for his hard-hitting releases on labels like Born On Road and deep ties to the modern jungle revival. As well as his own label Audio Addict. His sets blend classic influences with a powerful contemporary edge.

Joining him on the mic is MC Natty D, a Midlands favourite and mic veteran bringing straight ragga energy, sharp lyrics, and knows exactly how to ride a jungle set the right way.

Next up is producer, DJ and all round badmon all the way from Ipswich- Conrad Subs, a very highly regarded producer who just keeps on pushing the deeper, atmospheric side of jungle and drum & bass, with releases on prominent underground labels such as Metalheadz, Dread, and his very own label Koba Audio -a reputation for precision crafted sets through the years.

Manny's very own Sl8r delivers his selections with his raregroove style, rugged jungle edge. Sl8r is killing it with releases on 31Records and V Recordings, paired with another Manchester Donny Slay, who featured on Hospital, Critical, V Recordings and UKF- Slay has established himself as one of the standout voices of the genre coming from Grime roots to now the higher tempos of DNB & Jungle.

Millz, representing the new generation, blends style and substance with dynamic sets and a deep love for bass culture, walking in her Dad's footsteps. Millz presents KoolFM and is passionate about the scene.

Millz will be with a Special guest MC- be there to find out!

Daisy JD, a Birmingham-based DJ, resident at Sigil Radio adds local fire to the lineup with her distinctive 140 style and vibrant performance style.

Supporting the night are Brum N Bass residents, repping the local scene and setting the tone from start to finish.

This is a celebration of jungle culture, from its original roots to its modern evolution.

Real jungle, played how it should be. For the heads that know.
