Lumina: Croakheads Takeover

Lumina returns this April with another huge month ahead, and we’re starting strong with a heavyweight first event that’s set to shake Birmingham to its core.

Making serious waves across the Drum & Bass scene right now, Croak Heads have been turning heads not just with their sound, but with their powerful work supporting grassroots venues through The Music Venue Trust. Now, we’re proud to welcome them for a full takeover at Lumina, hosted inside one of Birmingham’s most vital underground spaces, Suki10c.

Leading the charge for Croak Heads is Zaba, bringing high-energy selections and cutting-edge sounds, joined by the unstoppable arrJae. Expect nothing less than pure intensity from start to finish.

Backing them up, Lumina’s own residents Dozé, Derffy, and Restless Nature step in to deliver the signature sound that’s been building serious momentum across the city.

And that’s not all, we’re also excited to welcome back a true Brum n Bass favourite. Making his first Lumina appearance of 2026, Optix returns to the decks.

This is more than just a night, it’s a celebration of grassroots culture, raw talent, and the future of Drum & Bass.
