In this special festive edition of his often sold-out Birmingham history talks, Carl explores the life, times and inspiration behind Dickens' most famous work, diving into the social and moral lessons that made A Christmas Carol one of the most enduring stories ever written.
Expect a night filled with history and heart, as Carl brings Victorian Birmingham to life, shining a light on the city's ties to Dickens' world of compassion and redemption. With his trademark Brummie pride and storytelling flair, it's the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season.
