Like his productions, his sets are full of personality and style and have earned him a reputation as a uniquely gifted DJ. In 2022, his warmup for Mr Scruff at We Out Here Festival impressed the legendary UK selector so much, that he invited him to stay on the decks to close the festival back-to-back, describing Aroop as a 'ridiculously skilled selector, musically able to move in any direction with ease'.
