Saytek - Official Biography

A UK-based electronic musician and one of the architects of contemporary live techno performance.
Emerging from London's squat and illegal party scene in the early 2000s, he began constructing real-time machine-driven sets.

Saytek's music is Detroit-rooted and warehouse-driven - high-energy yet deeply hypnotic. His sets fuse improvisational intensity with rolling machine funk. Forged in the underground and refined through years working behind the scenes as a sound and lighting engineer in leading clubs. From Berlin's Tresor and Sisyphos, London's Fabric, and FOLD to events such as Awakenings and Rave The Planet, he has carried his uncompromising live format.

Saytek has earned consistent recognition in FAZEmag's Live Act public poll-Germany's biggest dance music magazine-ranking in the Top 20 every year since 2019 and in the Top 10 for the past three consecutive years. He has also been described as a "live performance genius" by Carl Cox.

His catalogue, spanning albums and predominantly live-recorded releases, has appeared on heavyweight labels including Soma, R&S and Awesome Soundwave. Whether in an intimate basement or on a global festival stage, Saytek's mission remains unchanged: to push techno forward.
