Getting There - Easy Access to the Fun

Venue: Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham, B5 7QU
This iconic venue is easily accessible by various modes of transport.

By Train:

  • Birmingham New Street Station is the main rail hub for the city, approximately 2 miles from Edgbaston Cricket Ground.
  • University Station is the closest to the ground, about a 30-minute walk away, and is served by the Cross City Line.

By Bus:

  • National Express buses 45 and 47 run from Carrs Lane in Birmingham City Centre to Pershore Road, which is a 2-minute walk to the ground.

On Foot or By Bike:

  • It's approximately a 40-minute walk from Birmingham New Street Station to Edgbaston Cricket Ground.
  • The walking route is straightforward, with comprehensive signs along the way.
  • Edgbaston Cricket Ground is accessible via the Rea Valley Route and A38 (Bristol Road) cycle routes.
  • Cycle racks are available outside the stadium, and secure bike parking is located at St Andrew's Car Park, approximately 160 metres away.

By Car:

  • We recommend using public transport, however car sharing is an option. There is limited off-site parking, including:
  • Moseley Ashfield Cricket Club (Pink Car Park, B13 8NQ)
  • Red Gra (Red Car Park, B29 7ES)
  • Cannon Hill Park - potential availability
