Live Movement is Medicine session with Selextorhood DJs
Movement is Medicine (MIM) is a music-led experience designed to support emotional release, regulate your nervous system and build confidence in your body.
Guided by Claire, you’ll move through simple, rhythmic exercises that sync with the music—helping you relax, reset and reconnect.
The journey starts slow with soulful, jazz-inspired sounds, building into disco, house and high-energy beats. As the tempo rises, so do you—invited to move freely, dance instinctively and tap into real joy.
This isn’t just a class—it’s a full-body, feel-good release. Whether you’re a music lover, a dancefloor soul or simply looking to unwind, MIM meets you exactly where you are.
Backed by pioneering research from founder Emma Marshall, in collaboration with Professor Paul Dolan (Behavioural Science, London School of Economics) and supported by AlphaTheta and Broadwick Live, the method is grounded in real-world science.
Studies held at London’s Drumsheds used biometric data to show how guided movement with electronic music can regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety and boost feelings of joy and connection.
