“KILL”IMANJARO brings together some of the most exciting names in Aberdeen’s metalcore scene for a night that hits just as hard as the cause behind it.
Headlining the night are VOWS, Aberdeen modern metalcore delivering crushing breakdowns and soaring, melodic hooks. Fresh off the release of their new EP, this will be the first time hearing the new material live alongside the tracks that have already made their mark.
Support comes from Atlantic Rift, a staple of the local scene and no strangers to big lineups across Scotland. Known for their tight, aggressive sound and consistent live presence, they’ve built a reputation through years of graft and standout performances alongside some of the best emerging heavy bands in the UK .
Making their Aberdeen debut are Angels Weep, bringing a fresh wave of heavy energy to the city. Expect an intense set blending atmosphere, aggression and emotion, the kind of band built for rooms like this.
Opening the night are Fragments, Aberdeen-based djent/metalcore, returning for their first show of 2026. Following the release of their debut album and a strong run of shows alongside VOWS and Atlantic Rift, they’re continuing to push their sound.
But this is more than just a gig.
“KILL”IMANJARO is part of a wider fundraising effort to support Student Minds, raising both awareness and vital funds for student mental health.
In the UK, one in five young people struggles with their mental health. Of those, many don’t know where to turn for support. Suicide remains the leading cause of death for people under 30.
This event exists to change that.
Every ticket, every person through the door, and every bit of support helps contribute towards a challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in 2026, raising funds and awareness for a cause that affects more people than most realise.
Heavy music. Real purpose.
