Review of Pembrokeshire Street Food Festival

Loved trying different foods, such as Greek and Spanish, etc.

Awkward to get to and from car park with pram and very difficult to wheel around as venue had tiny, raised cobblestones and thick sand in areas. Dread to think how a wheelchair user would handle it. Very small selection of stalls, ridiculous prices to book a table. Should have free options to be able to sit down and some shade other than tables in a marquee would have been nice. Was busy enough when I got there around 10am, absolutely huge queue to get in around 1pm. Not suitable for anyone other than able bodied groups who want to book a table together and are ok with eating early. Would suggest moving to a different location that is easier to access, have more food stalls, have more seating and more areas that are sheltered from the weather (sun, wind, rain). Would not recommend and will not be attending again.

Despite having a ticket we couldnt get in! Queued for 45 minutes on Saturday afternoon along with loads of others and didnt move so we left! Badly organised.

We cant give a rating as after a good half hour waiting to buy a drink etc, We decided to leave, 
 1. Why did We have to give numbers of party attending ?  There was no entrance gate and people ploughing in from everywhere. 
2. NO sign of any steward that We could see ! must have taken a good 20mins of walking around slowly to find someone.  
3. Went to buy a drink ,wondered why No  queue ?  Answer only 1 beer on .
4. Cleverly concealed , badly signed information desk.
5. Went to the other bar at least 20 people queuing with 1 person serving ! 
6. Having decided this was not for Us and having been before We went to leave. ! 
That in it's self became difficult as the people who were queuing for food and drinks didn't appreciate us cutting through their  space in the queues .
Having spent a good £24 before even getting there, We were bitterly dissappointed with the whole thing !  On previous years the whole area was cordoned off , with a single entrance which was adequately manned enabling all visitors to be checked for the various type of tickets and numbers controlled. 
As  locals to the area it wasn't long before We came along other locals else where, who voiced the same opinions as ourselves .  Utterly disorganised rubbish event !

Needs a larger venue. No room to push my pushchair so had to leave as soon as we had our food. The floor was also uneven making it unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users. Considering how popular the event is you would think that a bigger venue would have been a given. Very disappointing

Needs to be in a larger area, long ques everywhere for food, people where waiting for up to 20 mins just to get served nobody knew what que was for what.

Absolutely appalling…we attended Swansea food festival a couple of months ago which was fabulous. We thought Tenby would be on the same level how wrong we were. We paid for a table for 4 hours only to watch people come and go and brag that there was no need to pay. I had to go and find someone to remove people from our table and that was the last we saw of them £22.50 for the table was a joke! I want a refund but my email has gone unanswered. The food was awful and nowhere near the standard of the caters at Swansea. Yes it’s expensive but that’s okay if the food lives up to expectations. It was a complete rip off and an excuse for small businesses to rip off the public. The organisation was terrible through out the day. We definitely won’t be returning.

Enjoyed another Tenby festival trying out different foods and enjoying the music, only issue was even though we booked tickets did not need to show them like last year, so was more overcrowded as everyone could just walk in.

Excellent range of street food vendors. Good music. Well stocked bar. a bit chaotic on Saturday as there were so many people attending.

Fabulous food, great variety! A well stocked and run bar or two. Prices higher than usual but you expect this at an event. Underfoot can be challenging on the cobbles and curbs but overall fabulous!
