The brand new Brighton and Hove festival have dropped their phase 1 lineup, featuring some dazzling names in house, funk, and soul.

The only criticism is paying for VIP tickets you expect not have to queue so long to get in and not enough toilets

Review of Glorious Day Festival 2026

Went V.I.P. as wanted to experience a bit of luxury with my guests. Not worth the extra money. Same bar selling overpriced cheap wine. No selection just red or white. No ice buck*t just handed a plastic bottle of wine. No draught drinks only bad lager in cans. Not even soda water on tap. It was cold and windy so some garden heaters would have been much appreciated.  Even a wind breaker might have helped! Not enough chairs to go round so we had to sit separately- when we all wanted to be together. My friend tried to bring a chair into the V.I.P. area but was told this was not allowed. We asked staff what we could with the chair and were told not their problem!  We then saw a group sitting on their own chairs in the V.I.P. area. We queried this and were told sorry they had made a mistake and chairs were allowed! We got there before 3pm and we were told we could not enter because of the weather. Then we were held up because of the chair issue - so by the time we got to the seating area most of the good seats had gone.  Badly managed and very disappointing.

Great event, brilliant location and really friendly

Such a great vibe and beautiful location with excellent music, totally recommend!

Had a fab afternoon out, great music, great atmosphere and great venue. I would definitely recommend.
