Loyle Carner has been unveiled as the new headliner for We Out Here 2025. The acclaimed hip-hop wordsmith will be stepping in as the festival’s Sunday night headliner, bringing the weekend to a close.

The news comes after Mercury Prize-winning singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka announced the cancellation of all upcoming festival and live dates this summer due to an ongoing illness, which included his headline slot at We Out Here. Carner’s slot will arrive hot off the heels of his fourth LP hopefully!, which was released in June to widespread acclaim.

Curated by Gilles Peterson, We Out Here’s sixth edition returns to Wimborne St Giles in Dorset from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th August 2025. Spanning the realms of jazz, hip hop, soul, and electronica, this year’s edition will feature Noname, Pa Salieu, 4am Kru, Everything Is Recorded, and many more amidst the idyllic Dorset countryside.
