City Sound Project festival have announced the first wave of artists that will play this year's festival, with the Kent based showcase boasting a plethora of artists across a litany of genres.
White Lies top the bill, the synth-rock trio currently on a nationwide tour after releasing new album Friends in October 2016. They'll be joined by his royal highness of reggae David Rodigan, grime starlet AJ Tracey, tech house doyen Detlef and jaunty indie rockers The Rifles, among others. See the full City Sound Project festival line up.
The festival has been one of the more eye-catching metropolitan events the UK can muster, taking full advantage of Canterbury's historic surroundings to bring a killer combination of young talent and established heavy hitters of music. Balancing after hours sessions with intimate gigs and more, it's traditionally taken up the May Bank Holiday and will again do so on Saturday April 29th.
