Fiesta Bombarda are set to return to Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory this New Year's Eve. The event held a particularly memorable night for New Year's 12 months ago at the same venue.
Having set the bar so high with last year's sell out show, they plan to up the ante this year with a mixture of live performance, DJs and what they describe as a deep immersion into their sci-fi theme.
Performing on the night will be a special one off performance by the Intergalactic Karaoke Ensemble, which will feature recognisable faces from the Kazimier Collective alongside other local musicians. The group will perform covers of songs handpicked for the occasion. Also performing live will be the Renegade Brass Band, who might also tailor their set especially for the night.
DJs will play across a spectrum covering funk, afro sounds, drum n' bass and reggae, the latter being lead by the UK's four decade old Channel One Sound System.
