About

It's going to be another fantastic year for the Southport Comedy Festival in association with Halliwell Jones Kia Southport, as we celebrate our 15th anniversary. Headline acts and T.V names from across the World of Comedy will descend on our lovely seaside town from the 2nd to the 18th of October 2026 for 17 days of hilarity all under canvas in our heated and seated luxury marquee in Victoria Park, home of the world renowned Southport Flower Show.

This year's unmissable line-up features comedy super stars Jason Manford, Jason Byrne, Paul Sinha, Jimeoin, Clinton Baptiste, Henning Wehn, Gary Delaney, Paul Merton and Suki Webster, Adam Kay, Mike Wozniak, Scott Bennett, Laura Smyth, Mick Miller and Seann Walsh.

The festival is also committed to supporting the stars of tomorrow with the return of the Southport New Comedian of the Year Competition, proudly sponsored for a fifth year by Dragon Soop.

Our triple headline Best of the Fest Comedy Night is back featuring the very best in stand up from the UK comedy circuit. Festival-goers can also rewind the clock and dance the night away as Comedy Bingo Goes Back to the 90s returns for another nostalgic night of fun.

So, turn off your TV, grab your coat and come out and join us for some real live comedy this October!
