Venue was fantastic with lots of space, didn't feel over crowded. Really quick to get a drink and use facilities. However drinks were very overpriced,£5 for water!! There was no where near enough food stalls for the amount of people. Waited over 1 hour just for chips!

Review of Country Club - Outdoor Country Music Festival - Chelmsford

Got told we could not bring are own chairs , yet everyone else still did , prices for drinks was ridiculous and for food. Only 2 entertainment rides. £5 for 1 bottle of water. And the music... we listened to Taylor swift for most of it. Not what we expected and we would not recommend.

Such a scam, buy 4 tick*ts for 3. But you all have to arrive together! Terrible! An extra £80 had to be spent as we arrived separately and this was not clearly stated on purchasing! Yes on the tick*t (but who looks at that until the day before) - really really poor.

Would not reccommend, production was crap & backing tracks did not play for all artists when they were expecting it to. DJ cut out a few times, quite a lot of mic feedback! 

£70 odd for a VIP tick*t that did not really give you anything other than a shorter queue for the toilets.  Drinks were really expensive and we were overcharged by £10 at the bar by one of the bar staff. Large bottles of soft drinks meant they were mostly flat tbh. Very poorly displayed and organised behind the bar. 

Queued over an hour for pizza, the pork place closed early as they had run out of food, the chip stall had an even longer queue that went down slower than the pizza queue - needed more food vendors. Atmosphere was okay, lots of rough crowds - very boozy.

View behind the stage was gorgeous and made for a nice atmosphere near the stage. 

Would not go back.

The line dancing lessons should be on a totally different stage to the main one as not everyone wants to watch lessons on the main stage for ages at a music festival . Was a good day though and we did all have fun. It wasn't over packed either which was nice in terms of queuing for drinks and the toilets etc.

There wasnt a lot to do, the singers were below average and the sound system was awful.

The venue was lovely, this festival had the potential to be great but unfortunately it was sub par.

Was an amazing day. Great music, friendly staff, overall great experience.

Unreal day, unreal vibes. Such an amazing venue, went to a boatclub event here a few years ago - this country vibe was exactly what people need, nothing heavy but somewhere to have a dance, dress up and sign along to classics! This needs to be an annual event like other big music festivals.

Needed more Food vendors as big ques. But everything else was great!!
