The one day, family-friendly event will reoccur next year, showcasing some of the most exciting traditional folk-based acts and craft products from across the Highlands.

The Gathering Festival will return in 2020

The event will debut in Inverness in June 2019.

The Gathering reveals inaugural line up

The event is very well organised , however itâs on the expensive side and I am not in favour of paying Â£11 extra for seats , the seats are there already and for  me Â£5.00 extra would be plenty to pay for seats.  That is the only down side to this event    Toilets are kept spotless all day and the bands on stage to the minute of their time .

well organised, great atmosphere, more toilets defo needed, amazing bands xx 

Loved the main acts, nice family vibe. Torrid on and Tide Lines were brilliant as always. Recommendations - water filling stations - we understand that companies want to make a profit, but at Â£3 a bottle of water this is not taking health and safety seriously. By all means charge what you can for drinks generally and people can choose, but there should be a safe alternative for hydration. It would have been nice to have seen more merch from the bands. All in all a great day ð

Review of The Gathering 2022

Great wee day festival. Brilliant music and atmosphere 

Thought there were too many instrumental only bands playing . And Calum mcphail was so good he should have been on the main stage . Love capercaillie but they were on too late in the day and brought the up beat vibe down as the music was so slow and sombre 

It was all round a fantastic experience and was really interesting to experience highland and island culture through music. The stalls and the food available were fab!

Got to praise you for your upkeep of the ladies toilets. Was very well run. Joined a vey, very long queue, but was in a toilet in no time. They were very clean, best Iâ??ve ever seen where there is a big crowd. Five stars! Could have done with even more bench seating! Didnâ??t think the line up was as good this year.
