Derby's event of the summer is back with a bang for 2026. A star-studded line-up will be taking to The Darley Park Weekender stage for 2026.

Starting off the weekend in style on Friday is Britain's Caribbean King of Pop Billy Ocean. Adding to the excitement is 90s heartthrob Marti Pellow, best known as the the iconic lead singer of Wet Wet Wet, joining as very special guest!

The Darley Park Weekender is held at Darley Park in Derby.

No, there is no re-admission once you leave The Darley Park Weekender.

Only assistance and guide dogs are allowed at The Darley Park Weekender.

Last entry for The Darley Park Weekender will be 9pm.

 

Please arrive early to ensure enough time to go through the search points at The Darley Park Weekender. Please read further down to see what can and cannot be brought into the events. Security will search you and your bag upon entry, including the use of search wands. You could also be searched once you are in the event.

Security personnel will be present both inside and outside the event for your safety. CCTV cameras will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The Darley Park Weekender collaborate closely with police and emergency services for a secure event. There will be police patrols around the event and local area. If you see something that doesn’t look right, let a member of security or the police know straight away.

Food and drink (including alcohol) will be available to buy at The Darley Park Weekender - card and cash payments are accepted.

Within the permitted bag size (45cm x 25cm x 20cm), for personal consumption, you can bring:

  • Food
  • Sealed soft drink and water non-glass bottles/cartons (up to 500ml)
  • Empty plastic/metal bottles/flasks (up to 1L) for refilling at free cold and hot water stations
  • No alcohol can be brought into the events

Challenge 25 is in effect. Be prepared to show a valid photo ID (passport, driving license, or PASS ID) at the entrances and inside the event when purchasing or drinking alcohol.

No glass items permitted, including glass bottles and drinking glasses.

If you need to bring unsealed baby milk/formula please contact ahead of the event or for late/on the day bookers, on arrival at the event.

You can bring the following things to The Darley Park Weekender:

  • Only assistance and guide dogs are allowed
  • One small bag per person (maximum size: 45cm x 25cm x 20cm)
  • One camping chair or blanket per person for seating
  • Prams or pushchairs for small children & babies are allowed, as are wheelchairs and specialised pushchairs or mobility aids for older children and individuals with additional needs (see Accessibility for further information)

You cannot bring the following things to The Darley Park Weekender:

 

 

  • Glass or ceramic items (including bottles, glasses, cups, jars, etc)
  • Knives or cutlery (except wooden and plastic)
  • Trolleys, hampers or cool boxes (cool bags are allowed within the specified bag size limits: 45cm x 25cm x 20cm). A trolley park area is located outside the event entrance (trolleys left at your own risk).
  • Barbecues (including disposable barbeques and camping stoves)
  • Medication, unless recognisable or accompanied by a doctor’s note or prescription.
  • Flags, flag poles, large umbrellas (1 metre or more), selfie stick
  • Shelters (tents, gazebos), kites and tables
  • Bikes cannot be brought into the event area – a bike parking area is located outside the event entrance (bikes left at your own risk).
  • Flammable items (flaming torches, fireworks, candles, lanterns, etc).
  • Generators, spray cans, aerosols, smoke or gas devices/canisters/cylinders.
  • Sound systems, megaphones or air-horns.
  • Weapons, dangerous items or lasers.
  • Unidentifiable substances or illegal drugs.
  • Aerial vehicles/devices (drones).
  • Zoom lenses or professional filming equipment.
  • Unauthorised merchandise, including any goods using unauthorised event logos or unofficial tabards, unauthorised reflective jackets.
  • Any items left at entrances or confiscated will be disposed of and cannot be returned upon exiting the site.

 

All standard booking terms and conditions apply, including:

  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • The event will not be cancelled unless there's a health and safety risk.
  • Additional, terms and conditions for this event:
  • No re-admission once you leave the event.
  • For safety reasons, and to ensure the comfort of those attending the event, the management reserves the right to reduce the overall footprint of your chosen seating area.
  • Darley Park is open to the public except for the event area.

  • WARNING: Smoke machines, strobe lights, pyrotechnics, and other effects may be in use at this event.
