I would totally recommend the VIP tickets as that definitely made the event for me. Great live music from Incognito. Would have preferred more than 2 bands though. Lots of DJ's which doesn't thrill me.
Very well organised not expensive excellent bands and guest dj s thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and evening
Happy people, enjoying great tunnnes in a relaxed atmosphere.
Incognito were brilliant. The sound thought out the day was very good . Would definitely go again
We had an amazing time at the South East Soul Festival.
The djs were brilliant, keeping everyone seamlessly entertained and dancing with pure soul tunes until the live bands, Incognito and The Brand New Heavies came on. Both bands were excellent. My only suggestion would have been to bring The Brand New Heavies on a little earlier. As this was a family event it felt as though a few had already left before they came on at 9:30pm.
We were able to bring in our picnic chairs and enjoyed a picnic before enjoying the food stalls, which were not too overpriced, later on.
Atmosphere was brilliant, really friendly- everyone there to have a good time, which we did and we were blessed with sunshine too. Danced all day and will definitely come back next year.
Enjoyed the whole day x
Great day will definitely be back 👍
Great day out for all the adult family. Great atmosphere great music and no trouble. Highly recommend and will certainly be going again. Thank you to the organisers.
Great location, line up & atmosphere. V good choice of food outlets. Free parking & plenty of toilets
Too big a gap between main acts & some sound issues for Brand New Heavies
Very good day out, good acts and atmosphere. Ticket price was good value for money, would definitely do it again next year. Very easy to get a drink and the bar was reasonably priced.
We really enjoyed this festival. The music and acts were amazing, good choice of bars and food.

Live band Incognito did a great set in the late afternoon which was followed by a mix of dj's playing some great tunes and filling the big tent with dancing. However when the much awaited Brand New Heavies started their set in the late evening the mood changed and over 50% of the crowd left within the first 30 minutes of them starting. A good event overall which unfortunately fell flat with the BNH!
Fun event apart from some very drunk people staggering about or lying comatose on the grass. Not sure how that’s avoided but wasn’t great to see!
