Review of Moovin Festival 2017
The BEST UK festival,,, totally INCREDIBLE, magical vibe due to location. Dancing under the stars, by a forest and waterfall. Amazingly laid out, nice food. Cow 🐮 shed is the best with all the hay bails laid out as seating, very good bar position and huge. Great staff too.

5 out of 5 for everything! LOVE Moovin Festival ! Can't wait for next year!!
Loved the atmosphere this year, finally felt like a proper festival with enough people there. Very friendly crowd & superb music. A bit disappointed it all has to finish so early but no doubt a licence condition. A suggestion for improvement - get some portaloos sorted out for next year, the toilet blocks couldn't cope this year. A brilliant little festival though, thanks.
It was one of the best festivals I've been too as I didn't meet someone who wasn't kind considerate and helpful, from bar staff, toilet attendants, to fellow campers and festival goers. It' was a wonderful small festival that could have benefitted from a later licence and ability to offer a few more dance acts. We all hope to be there next year and hope it doesn't out grow its boots.
Great small festival, great live acts and did good prices

This was my first time at Moovin and I had a brilliant weekend. The line-up was good, the atmosphere was excellent and the food stalls were fantastic. Especial hats off to the Streatza wood-fired pizzas and the ladies making fantastic wraps and smoothies under difficult circumstances with very little support from the organisers. Things to improve upon - the stupid token system (if we have to exchange tokens for real money, you should at least let people know to trade them in again before close of play on sunday if they don't want to be left with a pocketful of useless bits of plastic on monday). MORE DRINKING WATER TAPS ON SITE, please - there's no excuse for insufficient taps. Also the toilets got really grim in the evenings, stank a lot of the time, and weren't cleaned early enough the next morning. There was also never enough paper. Maybe Thunderbox compost toilets would be a better idea - there were times at the Barn stage when the smell from the toilets was wafting into the arena, which is pretty unpleasant. Since the music finished relatively early at night, it would be good to have more stuff on during the day. The Gong Bath was awesome, a wonderful way to start a saturday and sunday! All in all, we had a great time but would have liked things to have gone on a bit later - we are grown-ups, you know?!
The best, maddest, friendly little festival I have ever been to. Even better than last year!
MOOVIN Festival is absolutely amazing. It is the 2nd time I have been, fantastic, well organised festival, lovely people. I cannot wait for next years festival, I have been to many festivals and his is the best one ever.
Overall the best festival I've ever been to; superb line-up, wonderful location, easy to access and get away, fantastic sound systems, friendly security and relaxed atmosphere. Please don't increase the capacity too much as this would really spoil it. Only improvements would be for the music to go on a bit later and one more option for the Friday evening (a DJ perhaps), and get the soundchecks done quicker/earlier in the day as a couple of sets cut short due to delays.
Great festival,lovely location,lovely people,great music
What an amazing weekend this is definitely going to be an annual event loved it.
Really nice small festival with a great atmosphere. Nowhere gets too busy and easy to wander around the site.
Fabulous festival, nicest punters at any festival I know (I'm also a Shambala and Beat Herder regular), I like that there are many older ravers (I'm 70), great music, food, I like it because it's small and intimate and not too far to trek between camping site and festival site... Dislikes: campsite is hilly, although we arrived very early on the Friday in order to get a flat spot for our motorhome like last year, we were sent uphill as the flat spots "were reserved for handicapped". I slept poorly as a result. A fleet of non-handicapped vans then occupied those flat places! Also, and everyone agrees, that daft rule about not bringing your own alcohol into the campsite and having to pre-purchase crappy lager from you at inflated prices! Come on! We all ignored that "rule", but it left a bad taste and some people sold their tickets because of that and said they'll never come again! We'll come again for sure, but will park on a flat spot deservedly by coming early and will consume whatever drinks we want in our own van. Apart from that: Moovin is our favourite festival! Thank you so much xxx
Lots more to see and do this year, keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely small festival, portaloo free!!
Was a good festival. Music was great, people were friendly. No hassle from anyone. Lovely venue and weather was top. Toilets were a bit gross near the end but I guess that's to be expected. Thanks for the festival
The very best of everything that is positive about Manchester's music culture in one beautiful venue. Around 3500 people having an awesome time is right in the sweet spot. Buy your tickets early next year!
Excellent Venue, brilliant diverse acts and well laid out.
Brilliant venue, everyone friendly and on the same level
