WHAT TIME DOES THE FESTIVAL OPEN?

The festival gates open at 10am on Saturday, DJs start at 10am till 11pm

The bar closes at 10.30pm, food closes at 10.45pm and the music concludes at 11pm.

The official after parties at Mint Warehouse & Mint Club start immediately after the festival.

WHAT TIME DO YOU RECOMMEND GETTING HERE?

We recommend getting here before 1pm

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

No full tracksuits, no tracksuit bottoms, “walking pants” (tracksuit top worn with jeans/ shorts is expectable) no man bags, no camel packs, no bags bigger than A4 size.

CAN I BRING A BAG IN TO MiNT FESTIVAL?

No big bags or ruck sacks are allowed in to Mint festival due to safety. Small bags only. Nothing larger than an A4 size bag. No Camel Packs. Please use common sense and cooperate with all searches. Please keep your belongings with you at all times.

CAN I BRING A MAN BAG?

No man bags are allowed at Mint Festival

CAN YOU BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL ON SITE?

You can not bring your own alcohol into Mint Festival

IS THERE A CLOAKROOM?

There will be a cloakroom.

ARE THERE CHANGING ROOMS?

There are no changing rooms.

CAN YOU SMOKE CIGARETTES INSIDE THE FESTIVAL SITE?

Yes you can smoke inside the arena, random searches will be made upon entry to ensure no prohibited items are concealed within the cigarettes. (Cigarettes will be sold within the festival site)

PARKING?

There is a car park at Mint Festival and it is £10 cash. Security will be present during the event however cars left overnight are left at the owners risk and Mint Festival, Stockeld Park and management take no responsibility for any loss or damage.

LOST & FOUND?

There is a lost and found service at Mint Festival. Items are recorded and kept for 6 weeks, please email becky@themintclub.com after the event to check on your lost property.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE TOILETS?

There is a sufficient number of port-a-loos at the venue.

CAN I BUY FOOD AT THE VENUE?

Yes, we have several food stands at the venue, where we offer a great variety of healthy food considering local suppliers.

CAN I TAKE DRINKS TO THE FESTIVAL AREA?

Drinks not purchased at the event are not allowed in the whole festival area.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

The access to the Mint Festival is only allowed for people who are 18 years and older.

ARE THERE SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR HANDICAPPED PEOPLE?

The venue is handicapped accessible and there is a raised platform for people who are disabled in wheelchairs. 

IS THERE POSSIBILITY TO RE-ENTER THE VENUE AFTER HAVING LEFT?

No, due to organisational reasons, re-entry is not possible.

CAN I TAKE MY CAMERA INTO THE FESTIVAL?

Only mobile phone cameras and small digital cameras for private use are allowed: video cameras are forbidden.

IS CAMPING ALLOWED AT THE VENUE?

No, camping is not allowed at Mint Festival

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING?

We will continue dancing of course… and have a sufficient number of rain capes for you!

CAN I BRING AN UMBRELLA?

It is possible to bring a small pocket umbrella, eg. Knirps. As bigger umbrellas can be used as a weapon, those are not allowed on site.

WHEN IS LAST ENTRY?

Last entry is 8pm

Will I need ID?

We will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy at Mint Festival. If you can’t provide valid identification when asked, you will be asked to leave the site and come back with your ID. So if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification.

Valid forms of ID include:

– An in date photographic driver’s license or provisional licence.
– A valid passport (not a photocopy). Out of date passports will NOT be accepted.
– A Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card (showing the PASS hologram).

 

SUMMARY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Holding of this ticket signifies that you have accepted the following terms and conditions below and those on our website.

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY TO ANY PERSONS WITH FULL REFUND AT THE GATE. THIS INCLUDES ANY TICKET HOLDERS AND FOR ANY REASON THEY SEEM JUSTIFIED WITH.

Admission to Mint Festival event is by ticket only.

The event is strictly over 18’s only.

PHOTO ID will be required for everyone to gain entry into the event and to consume alcohol.

All persons will be subject to search prior to entry. Any refusal in search will result in persons not being admitted to the event.

Strictly NO pass outs will be allowed.

No duplicate tickets will be issued for lost/stolen tickets.

Line up is subject to change at any time without prior notice to existing ticket holders.

Mint Festival has a zero tolerance policy towards illegal and legal substance for consumption or distribution purposes. Persons found to be in possession will be removed from the event and reported to the police.

Some Prohibited Items: Alcohol, Glass, Bottles, Cans, Food, Laser pens, Flares, Nitrous oxide canisters, Balloons and any items that are deemed to be a weapon or potential threat to persons attending the event safety. See website for full details.

No professional video cameras or recording equipment unless prior consent has been arranged.

CCTV is in operation throughout the entire event with images being recorded for the purpose of crime prevention and public safety. All incidents of crime and disorder will be reported to the police.

All persons attending the event consent to any photography, filming and recording as arranged by the promoters for possible future transmission in promotional activities.

Any persons found selling unauthorized merchandise or flyering/promoting will be ejected and reported to police.

In the event of an emergency please follow the directions of the event stewards.

The event organisers reserve the right the change or cancel the transmission without prior warning for whatever reason.

LAST ENTRANCE FOR THE EVENT IS 8pm

WARNING – Prolonged & repeated exposure to amplified sound may cause permanent hearing damage.

– Strobe lighting, lasers & special effects will be used throughout this event.
