Liverpool Celebrates festival

Liverpool Celebrates is bringing a fab four days celebrating Liverpool’s musical heritage, culture and people. The use of local suppliers and people, where possible, will be at the forefront of the operation. With four individual events in the form of Friday’s Liverpool Legends, Saturday’s Party at the Pier, Sunday’s Mathew Street Legacy and ending in Monday’s Cavern Takeover.

Taking place across the August Bank Holiday (Friday 23rd - Monday 26th August), Liverpool Celebrates will commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the last Mathew Street Festival on the Sunday with dozens of acts to perform over the four-day music extravaganza.

Friday: LIVERPOOL LEGENDS

Experience the iconic sounds of Liverpool with performances by Holly Johnson, Lightning Seeds, Space, China Crisis, Tea Street Band, The Sway & Headfeeder.

Saturday: PARTY ON THE PIER

Join us for a spectacular party featuring The Jacksons, Boyzlife, Bongos Bingo Experience, N-Trance, and many more artists to be announced!

Sunday: MATHEW ST FESTIVAL LEGACY

Relive the magic of the legendary Mathew Street Festival with performances by The Cavern Club Beatles, Abba Revival, Prince, The Doors Rising, Glory Days - Bruce Springsteen Tribute, Roxy Magic, Absolute Bowie, and UK Fleetwood Mac.

Monday: CAVERN TAKEOVER

Step back in time with Dios Salve a la Reina (God Save the Queen), Rocks Off - The Ultimate Rolling Stones Experience, Definitely Maybe Oasis, Beatles Complete, Authentic Elton, Who's Next, and Hometown Glory - a tribute to Adele by Natalie Black. Plus Family Fun, face Painting, workshops, Activities & Entertainment.
