InterMission Festival

Based at The Mill Digbeth, InterMission brings Birmingham and the surrounding areas a new one-day, multiroom festival; exploring sounds from the UKs leading Jazz, Afro, Global, Electronica & Hip-Hop scene and beyond.

InterMission will run a day to club-night program, featuring 2 stages of live music, a creative area with music industry lead talks and DJ workshops lead by Pioneer, an outdoor yard with food traders and stalls, and a roof top takeover from local Female & Non-binary DJ collectives Saffron Records & Selextorhood.

InterMission is a culturally rich and gender-balanced event.

The daytime live program runs from 13:00 - 22:00, with the club night running 22:00 - 3:00am.

As stage capacities are regulated, we advise that if you are keen to see a particular band you make sure to get to the stage with plenty of time to spare to avoid disappointment. Tickets do not guarantee entry to a stage that's at full capacity.
