The 2017 Shrewsbury Folk Festival takes place from August 25th to 28th and will provide four days packed with fantastic music, dance, and entertainment all on a centrally located site in the heart of Shrewsbury.
There's five music venues, a dance marquee with acclaimed ceilidh bands, dozens of workshops, a craft fair, well stocked bars, a children's festival and Refolkus for 12 to 25-year-olds – with on-site camping for weekend ticket holders.
Disabled Access Information
There is wheelchair access at most venues and a limited number of accessible viewing spaces in both concert marquees.
There is also a designated camping area (not bookable in advance but big enough to accommodate everyone) situated close to wheelchair accessible flushing toilets and showers.
The whole site is totally flat and has tarmac roadways. Battery charging is available for electric scooters and wheelchairs. Car parking space (situated close to performance venues) is reserved for Blue Badge holders.
