Saturday 17th January 2026
From 6pm | Outdoors at Fairfield Social Club
Chase out the bad spirits. Stomp in the good vibes.
This January, Wassailing comes to Fairfield Social Club for an outdoor folk ritual to see off the bad energy and kick off the year properly. Traditionally held in January, Wassailing is all about noise, togetherness and mulled cider. Scaring away bad spirits and welcoming good fortune for the year ahead.
Expect firelight, shouting, stomping and plenty of joyful chaos, with live performances from The Milltown Cloggies. They’ll be bringing proper Lancashire clog dancing, heavy footwork and moments where the crowd gets pulled in to join the ritual.
There’ll be sparklers, outdoor winter vibes and just enough folk-horror atmosphere to feel ritualistic, while keeping things light, playful and very FSC.
🎟 £5
Includes one free mulled cider or alcohol-free mulled drink
