Kieran Lawless is an award-winning Irish comedian with a Master’s Degree in History — a qualification he is now shamelessly trying to justify.

In this show, Kieran dives headfirst into the wonderfully chaotic, wildly improbable, and occasionally absurd story of Irish history. From baffling invasions to heroic disasters, he asks the important academic questions, such as: “Is Irish history a story of heroic struggle, or a masterclass in chaotic decision-making?” and “How can a country be simultaneously oppressed, rebellious, and wildly optimistic?”

Kieran has performed extensively in comedy clubs across Ireland and the UK, supported Patrick Kielty at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, and has made multiple appearances on Irish television as a stand-up comedian.
