SEE MY WORLD presents, a one-night music festival flaunting Manchester's Pan-African music legacy.
On Friday 24 October 2025, this event will trace the city's Black music scene across past, present and future, marking the 80th anniversary of the 1945 Pan-African Congress.
In 1945, Manchester hosted a landmark gathering of activists and future African leaders - Kwame Nkrumah, W.E.B. Du Bois, Hastings Banda, Jomo Kenyatta and more - who demanded an end to colonial rule and laid the foundations for African independence movements. Eight decades later, SEE MY WORLD festival channels that same spirit of solidarity, self-determination, and cultural pride through music and performance.
The lineup features established and emerging artists, and a unique collaboration with the 'Black Creative Trailblazers' shaping Manchesters musical heritage, including:

SEE MY WORLD festival will honour the Pan-African divine, connecting historic lineage with present-day ancestry, keeping the Pan-African dream alive.
