This Father’s Day – which also happens to be Sir Paul McCartney’s birthday – Pure McCartney returns to The Cavern Club’s Live Lounge for a very special celebration of one of music’s greatest icons.
Fronted by Tony Coburn, The Cavern Club’s resident “Paul” from the world-renowned Cavern Club Beatles, this show captures McCartney’s voice, energy and spirit like no other.
Tony’s reputation has taken him from starring in Let It Be on Broadway (NYC) and London’s West End, to being hand-picked by legendary Beatles producer Geoff Emerick for The Sessions. Closer to home, Pure McCartney recently headlined Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, underlining their status as one of the most authentic and celebrated McCartney tributes in the world.
Joined by a band of top Liverpool musicians, Tony leads audiences on a journey through McCartney’s remarkable songbook – from Beatles favourites to Wings anthems and solo gems.
A must-see show on a truly historic date at the heart of Liverpool’s live music scene.
