Formed in 2023 and hailing from humble beginnings in North Wales, The Nocturnal have quickly made their mark on Liverpool’s goth and post-punk scene. Now based in the city, the band draws sonic inspiration from the likes of The Cure, Destroy Boys, and Joy Division, creating music that’s dark, punchy, and emotionally resonant. Their debut single “GirlBlend”, set for release on October 4th, 2025, via Big Condo Records, is a bold, defiant anthem confronting extreme catcalling and street harassment — delivered with gritty post-punk energy and a sharp lyrical edge.

Since signing with Big Condo Records in November 2024, The Nocturnal have supported label showcases, launches, and performed at the Big Condo Records Weekender — with more appearances and releases lined up. With their growing momentum and uncompromising sound, The Nocturnal are fast becoming one of the North West’s go-to post-punk acts.
