Biography

mosaics are a five piece indie rock band from Fife, Scotland. The band is comprised of Alex Wilson (lead vocals), Liam Napier (drummer), Jack Bryce (rhythm guitarist), Roy Jarvis (lead guitarist), and Duncan Lawrie (bassist). mosaics got together at the end of 2019 and wrote their first EP in the months that followed. 2020 put all plans for gigs and recording on hold, but the self-titled EP was eventually released in the spring of 2021, with singles Next To You and Hula proving particular favourites. Since then, the band have gone on to play all across the country, from King Tut’s in Glasgow to The King’s Theatre in their hometown of Kirkcaldy - supporting acts such as The Lottery Winners and Dancing on Tables along the way. In the last year, mosaics filmed their first ever music video for the single Can’t See You Tonight, and played their first big headline show at PJ Molloy’s at the start of 2023. Looking forward, mosaics are beginning a new chapter, with new music set to be released over the coming months. Add to the mix the announcement of another headline show at PJ Molloy’s, and the boys could not be more excited for the future.
