Biography

RAMPOLENE's lead singer and guitarist Jack Jones, is a spoken word poet and has toured a solo music and poetry set, supported Peter Doherty as a solo artist and performed his poems at London’s O2 Arena opening for The Libertines. He is also lead guitarist in Peter Doherty & the Puta Madres, whose debut self-titled album (2019), includes the single Paradise Is Under Your Nose, co-written by Jack and Peter. In 2019 BBC Radio 4 broadcast a documentary of Jack and TRAMPOLENE entitled “Another Swansea Poet”. Jack has also appeared as a guest on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Loose Ends’.
