Name's journey began at the age of 14 when he started

experimenting with vinyl records in his bedroom. By his late teenage years, he had already secured his first gig at a popular Harrogate nightclub called XS.

However, DJ By Name's story truly took shape when he transitioned from being behind the decks to dancing in front of them. It was on the dance floors of renowned

festivals and events like Creamfields, Global Gathering, Glastonbury, and Retro at Tall Trees that he honed his passion for dance music.

These experiences have left an indelible mark on his sets, which now encompass a diverse range of styles, including House, Funky House, and NuDisco.

In Yorkshire, DJ By Name is a regular fixture at events, especially one he co-founded, known as FML –(Funk My Life). Beyond Yorkshire, he has also made waves globally, thanks to his role as a brand manager for the iconic Love to be... and funkyLove, which has landed him on lineups around the world. He's recently shared the stage with esteemed artists such as KKlass, The Cube Guys, Earth n Days, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Trimtone, and Victor Simonelli, to name just a few. Furthermore,

he's been a consistent presence in the vibrant music scene of Ibiza over the past few years.
