The Parlour

Situated in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village the Parlour is an attitude free space where you can’t help but feel right at home. It has a real northern quarter feel combining retro furniture, unique decor, subtle lighting and friendly staff. Even though it began life as a hairdressers you will be surprised how well the space works as a bar. The Victorian bar itself was reclaimed from an old Salford pub and has been painstakingly brought back to life to provide the focal point of the venue. Like the music you are never quite sure what will be coming next on the big screen, from old footage of Divine to What ever happened to baby Jane All of the furniture lamps and tables are vintage or original and the philosophy of the bar is keep the old things old and the new, new! If you cannot find your favourite poster on the ceiling the rule is, if you bring it in we will put it up.
